MADE BY HAND IN TAMWORTH

Timber with a past, shaped for the table.

Jamie Torr makes each piece personally in his Tamworth workshop — selecting, shaping, turning, sanding and finishing by hand.

From beautiful Australian timbers to old weathered pieces with a story already behind them, each piece is made to let the natural grain and character of the timber speak for itself.

Made slowly. Made individually. Made for gathering.

A practical pair of hands.

Jamie brings a practical, hands-on background to the pieces he makes in Tamworth. He works with an appreciation of Australian timber, following the grain and the character that make each piece its own.

The aim is simple: useful, handcrafted pieces for everyday homes, tables and gathering. Turning, sanding and finishing by hand allows the timber’s natural details and imperfections to remain part of the story.

THE TIMBER

Character in every grain.

Beautiful Australian timbers are at the heart of The Country Table. Some pieces begin with older, weathered timber that already has a history; the timber used is described for each individual piece.

Grain, knots and variations in colour are part of the material’s character. Jamie works with those details, allowing each piece to retain its own identity.

Made one at a time.

No two pieces of timber are identical.

Many Country Table pieces are made individually rather than mass-produced. Where a product is designated One-of-One, the genuine product photographs show the actual piece you are purchasing.
